Today the management of hospitals & healthcare institutions is a challenge. The rising costs and expectations of the clientele make it even more difficult. It is no surprise, therefore, that in the current scenario the hospital managers have no option but to multi-task and manage people, finances, technology and above all the expectations of the internal and external stakeholders of the healthcare institutions. They are the unsung heroes relentlessly catering to the needs of the patients. They are forever unrecognized and perhaps forgotten in the glamour of healthcare. Hence AHA as a national association of administrators decided to honor its leaders, administrators and academicians who have contributed significantly to develop and nurture the discipline of hospital and healthcare administration.

The first Hospital Administration Excellence Awards honoured healthcare administrators in a glittering ceremony on the 13 Aug 2022 at AHA House Noida. Prof ( Dr) Vinod Kumar Paul, member NITI AAYOG, graced the occasion as Chief Guest and gave away the awards.

The second Hospital Administration Excellence Awards ceremony was held during SASH 2023 at CCI New Delhi on 14 Dec 2023. Dr Jitendra Singh, Hon’ble Minister of State for the Ministry of Science and Technology and Minister of State for Prime Minister's Office; Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions; Department of Atomic Energy and Department of Space, presented the awards to a galaxy of stalwarts from the field of hospital and healthcare administration.

This year is the much awaited third edition of the Hospital Administration Excellence Awards wherein we look forward to nominations to honour and celebrate excellence.
